  • Crafts: they are specific for manual work. It is not necessary to wear gloves as it does not have isocyanate (chemical) and can be handled by children.

We recommend buying quality foams, they only cost a little more and their properties are much better than generic ones and they spread more (expansion, insulation, high density).

How to apply polyurethane foams 

A good application is essential for the product to have the desired effect, so we are going to see step by step how you have to do it.

  • It cleans the surface well, it must be free of dust, loose particles, and grease.
  • Spray with a spray or wet with a damp cloth the area where you are going to apply it, this makes it easier for the foam to adhere well.
  • Take the polyurethane bottle, shake it 5 seconds before use and place the cannula or gun in the mouthpiece.
  • You are now ready to use the product, to do this, put on some gloves (it can irritate the skin), turn the bottle upside down, and press the valve to distribute the foam evenly.
  • Fill in the surface little by little: keep in mind that as it dries, the product expands, doubling its volume, so fill in at most half.
  • To fill a large volume of polyurethane foam, apply it in layers, waiting for the previous ones to dry. Between each layer moisten again.
  • Wait for it to dry, the time depends on the temperature and/or humidity of the environment, the type of surface, and the amount of product used. Follow the instructions on the packaging anyway.
  • Once hardened, you can cut the excess with a cutter, drill, paint, or plaster.
  • If you’ve stained the floor, the wall, or even your hands, you can clean it with acetone while it’s not hard. Cured stains can only be removed mechanically.
